There was an issue with the licensing in Dec but a user group Jewelry Design Manager was setup in Facebook that was very helpful in resolving the issue. It was a wonderful program while it lasted. I paid Barbara Carleton seems to have vanished from the planet and I cannot get her or anyone from Bejeweled to help me get it to work again. Terrible business person, this is criminal behavior. Can we do a class action lawsuit against her? I liked that I could organize my business in a simple way when all other options were confusing and cumbersome.

I despise the fact that the business folded and I lost my investment in the JDM Plus program without this company giving me an alternative. I agree with the other posters, this was without warning, sounds like a scam to me.

I bought this software early , there was no indication or mention it was going to be retired. When notified, I was informed the software could still be used, just not updated.

Now, I am unable to access all of my inventory. No way to get help. Very bad customer service! Pretty lousy thing to do! The fact that she took my money and a month later retired the program without a mention, even after all the questions I asked. We tried to download the link to an update which was required to continue.

Us, like many others, could not get the link to the update, and our calls to Barbara and emails went unanswered. We lost inventory control on items, our sales and customer and consignment data records for the past 8 years.

She knew exactly what she was doing. She knew. I paid for one year of technical support lately soon. I have the highest disregard for her. Many users myself included are now scrambling to try to recover locked data including in my case my entire inventory consisting of hundreds of items and customer lists.

Basically Barbara just walked away and took the program with her. All efforts to contact her have been unsuccessful. This program was still being sold until very recently with no indication this was going to occur. Good luck if you use this program hire a good computer expert to try to crack the security and recover what you can. The fact that Barbara who provided the software effectively took it back from everyone who paid for it along with their data.

Because of JDM I have been able to organize my inventory to a greater degree than any other time in the 86 years my family has made jewelry. I have used JDM for many years and have been able to start slow and build my existing business around JDM so that the learning curve was flat and ability of an old established business to computerize was slow and easy.
