What you need to do first is to disconnect from the internet that's because when you type in the product key it pings back to the Microsoft Server to see if it's a valid product key. I would search for the folder, put a shortcut on my Desktop, opem the folder and reorganize the currently installed programs or move new program shortcuts in, etc. I think it is because of some Windows updates that were automatically installed in the last day or two.

I followed my usual procedure: Setting up ten folders for certain categories Utilities, etc. After finishing that, with the programs installed so far, I went to Start-All Programs and found that everthing was still like it was when I started dozens of programs listed singly and randomly.

I got to a Dell supervisor who led me through the Control Panel to a "Programs" folder not normally reachable and said I could repeat my reorganization in this folder. I tried that with no success.

There were numerous folders there which were not on the list of installed programs. Trying to move some of the desired items such as Norton System Works, etc. Not even the new folders that I set up in there showed up via Start-All Programs. The original extensive list did not change. Can you tell me how to reorganize the shortcuts appearing under "All Programs", and add or remove subsequently installed program shortcuts? Thank you.
