Two animal siblings both voiced by Charlie Adler with human parents had wacky misadventures in their messed-up city and interacted with its equally messed-up civilians. Chicken was the cocky older brother of the naive and sweet-natured Cow. They were usually pursued by the Red Guy also Adler , who enjoyed making them suffer. Viewers gravitated towards characters like Cow and the Red Guy as they were seen as the funniest on the show. However, some were turned off by the unattractive art-style and gross content.

The hilarious, but somewhat forgotten cartoon, I. Weasel Michael Dorn was sophisticated and intelligent in contrast to his dim-witted and sloppy friend I. Baboon Charlie Adler. Baboon was envious of Weasel and always tried to outdo him comedically with little luck.

It also had an interesting turn where Baboon eventually succeeded and became the star of the series instead of Weasel. The Red Guy also appeared on the show as an antagonist. It was an anthology series full of classic cartoon sketches that had added interludes of Moxy Bobcat Goldthwait and Flea Penn Jillette originally and then Chris Rock. The series is considered Cartoon Network's first original series, but it wasn't a fully produced show and has become somewhat lost due to the series not being rerun or released for purchase.

A puppet series for preschoolers. Similar to Sesame Street , the puppet characters co-existed in a world with humans. Regardless, the partner characters in Project X Zone have their own death quotes if the unit is knocked out. The game also features the Support Hit and Cross Hit, which involves a fellow party member or nearby allies' proximity. With it, players are allowed to attack one enemy with five characters: a pair unit, a solo unit, and a nearby pair unit to inflict massive damage.

Cross Hits also bind the enemy in place so that essentially none of the characters' attack ever miss though this is dependent on where the enemy is specifically locked as well as where the characters' moves strike. Critical Hits are also featured; if the characters manage to land their hits as the enemy is about to touch the ground after being lifted into the air, the damage numbers will be in yellow, indicating critical hits. Critical Hits are greatly encouraged as the increased damage can greatly weaken or outright defeat some tougher enemies more quickly.

Bonus experience is added to the unit's winning total depending on the number of critical hits, cross hits and overall number of hits landed. A further bonus is granted if the Pair unit's finisher move annihilates the target. The following list is the villains that serve as the primary antagonists and occassionally rivals.
